On Monday, one student posed the question: "When is recycling not the best option?" We explored situations where reducing and reusing our use of common objects could be options BEFORE placing objects in the recycling bin.
Let's consider our clothing. What are some ways you could reduce the amount of clothing you buy and reuse clothing before getting rid of it? Post your ideas here! Let's see how many you can come up with!

Or give to younger siblings.

Leela,
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous ideas! I'd love to see a quilt made out of clothing people don't want anymore. It sounds like something Laura Ingalls Wilder would have done!
Thanks for sharing!

I think that maybe you could cut it and turn it into cleaning rags, and if you have an old newspaper and some strong glue you can cut out some pieces of clothing and glue it on the paper
ReplyDeleteand make a collage out of it.You can also donate old clothes.Katie,I love your ideas.

hi katie
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you another way of reusing old cloths.
You can give them away to homeless people or you can send them to my dads program for people who have houses and clothes but little money.
So i was thinking of that because i'm always worrying about homeless or people who have very little money and i always want to help them in a way.
